Ronald Elfege Comeaux
Ronald Elfege Comeaux, 75, of Hamshire, died Saturday, November 23, 2019, at Mid-Jefferson Extended Hospital, Port Arthur. He was born on August 28, 1944, to Vivian Brady Comeaux and Elfege “Unk” Comeaux, in Beaumont. Ronald was a United States Air Force veteran, where he was a paramedic. He owned and operated Comeaux’s Restaurant in Hamshire and was a family man. Ronald was a “jack of all trades” and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting, building projects, and gardening.
Survivors include his wife, Vickey Comeaux of Hamshire; daughters, Carolyn Knoblock and her husband, Earl, of Sour Lake and Patty Norris and her husband, Chris, of Anahuac; son, Lonnie Comeaux of Houston; grandchildren, Toshia Dubose and her husband, Lesley, of Kirbyville; Jason Reed of Anahuac; Josh Norris and his wife, Bee, of North Carolina; Jacob Knoblock and his wife, Derrad, of Labelle; Kinley Comeaux and her husband, Mason, of Lumberton; and Jacy Norris of Anahuac; great-grandchildren, Emalee Reed, Ryleigh Gray, Sophia Norris, and Gracie Knoblock; and numerous, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
A gathering of Mr. Comeaux’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 25, 2019, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.

I am so sorry for the loss of this young man. The whole family took me in and treated me like family. One memory I will never forget is when I was working at Comeaux’s and they thre a surprise birthday party for me. One more is when I got to go to Patty’s baby shower.
