Ronald Leon Birdwell

August 26, 1959 - January 20, 2026

Ronald Leon Birdwell, 66, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, January 20, 2026. He was born on August 26, 1959, in Kansas City, Missouri to Beverly Louise Garringer and James Robert Birdwell. Ron was a United States Army veteran and a served as a missionary in Ecuador for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Survivors include his wife of thirty-nine years, Geri Birdwell; children, Hilary Birdwell, Alexis Birdwell; and Christopher Birdwell; grandson, Caspian Wilock; siblings, Cherie Birdwell; Kelly Birdwell; and Jasmine Birdwell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, David Birdwell and Jimmy Birdwell.

A gathering of Mr. Birdwell’s family and friends will begin 9:00 a.m., with his funeral service at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 7785 Weaver Drive, Beaumont. His cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Dive, Beaumont.
