Ronald “Ronnie” Warren Evans

Ronald “ Ronnie” Warren Evans, 56, of Kountze, died Monday, May 8, 2023. He was born on August 14, 1966, in Uvalde, to Mary Marble Evans and Ronald Lee Evans.

Survivors include his children, Cassidy Renee Evans of Baytown; Melanie Kay Garcia and her husband, Oscar, of Pasadena; and Ronald Wesley Evans of La Porte; stepson, Eric Barnhart and his wife, Heather, of Warren; grandchildren, Oscar Lofton Garcia, Joseph Anthony Garcia, Kaitlyn Ann Garcia, Joshua Golden, Atreya Barnhart, and Barrett Barnhart; mother and father, Mary and Jim Massey of Harlton; siblings, Sissy McReynolds and her husband, Keith, of Coolidge; C.W. Evans of Harlton; Brenda Ann Baughman; and Everett Lee Evans. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jennie Evans.

A memorial service for family and friends of Mr. Evans will be held at a later date at Holly Grove Cemetery, 503 County Road South, Livingston. His committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
