Ronald Thompson Hebert, Sr.
Ronald Thompson Hebert, Sr., 76, of Beaumont, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022 surrounded by his family. He was born on April 23, 1945, in Beaumont, to Dorothy Thompson and Louis Martin Hebert, Jr. He was a native and lifelong resident of Beaumont.
Ronnie was a 1963 graduate of Monsignor Kelly Catholic High school, attended Texas A&M University and a graduate of Chenier Business School. He was a retired rice farmer of 25 years and structural designer for Petrocon and EnGlobal. He was a member of St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, a member of Knights of Columbus Council #951, American Rice Growers, Coastal Cattlemen and Texas Farm Bureau. Ronnie was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Marie Battaglia Hebert, of Beaumont; children, Ronald T. Hebert, Jr. of Beaumont; Mari Paige Hellmann and her husband, Douglas, of Houston; Brian Hebert and his wife, Connie, of Beaumont; and Kevin Hebert and his wife, Brooke, of Dallas; grandchildren, Henry Hellmann; Annabel Hellmann; Lily Hebert; Demi Hebert; Augustus Hebert; and George Hebert; and siblings, L.M. Hebert, III and his wife, Jerri; Sara Alewine and her husband, Ray; Mark Hebert and his wife, Sherry; and Donna Rizzotto and her husband, Manuel.
Memorial contributions for Mr. Hebert may be made to Knights of Columbus- Council 951 – Scholarship Fund, PO Box 2941, Beaumont, Texas 77704.
A gathering of Mr. Hebert’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with his Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m., Friday, February 25, 2022, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 26, 2022, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 6825 Gladys Avenue, Beaumont, with his interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont. A reception and lunch will follow at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 9505 College Street, Beaumont.

Sam and I just found out about Ronnie’s passing. Its times like these when you wish we would have stayed in touch. When we lived in Beaumont, Sam and always had so many good times with you both.
