Ronnie David Taft Copellar
Ronnie David Taft Copellar, 83, of Silsbee, died Thursday, January 27, 2022. He was born on November 5, 1938, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Ethel Myers and Jimmie Taft Copellar.
Survivors include his children, Ethel Mae Reeves; Betty Jo Fertitta and her husband, Michael; and Peggy Ann Jordan and her husband, Matt, all of Silsbee; grandchildren, Jack Spurlock of Corpus Christi, and Whitney Reeves and Samantha Jordan, both of Silsbee; and half-brother, Ray Whitney of Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his parents and mother of his children, Mildred Copellar.
A gathering of Ronnie’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Swearingen Cemetery, Warren. Please observe social distancing guidelines.

Ronnie was like a brother to me. I am sorry that He
passed away, I know He is in a better place now.
