Ronnie Lee Fox

August 29, 1971 - February 2, 2022

Ronnie Lee Fox, 50, of Silsbee, died Wednesday, February 2, 2022.  He was born on August 29, 1971, in Beaumont, to Margaret Daniels Fox and Roy Fox.

Ronnie served a five-year apprentice program with Pipefitters Local Union 195, during this time he worked with his dad in the union. Ronnie decided he wanted to be a plumber, so he took his plumbers test and received his license, then decided he was tired of working for someone else.  He took his master plumbers test and received his master license and opened his own business, Silver Fox Plumbing, in 2003.

Survivors include his wife, Dawn Fox; son, Alex Sheffield of Silsbee; mother, Margaret Daniels Fox, of Silsbee; brother, Michael Fox and his wife, Tishia, of Kountze; and numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He is preceded in death by his father.

A gathering of Ronnie’s family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 11, 2022, at Broussard’s, with his interment to follow at Town Bluff Cemetery, Town Bluff.

    I’m very sorry to hear of Ronnie’s passing. We had many great times together. I remember playing video games at Tiger’s Drive-In, hanging out at the Silsbee pool, riding dirt bikes and three-wheelers, etc. May he rest in peace.

    We are saddened to hear of Ronnie’s passing. Ronnie was generous to a fault. He would help anyone and sometimes with no charge to the customer. We loved seeing him come into the store.
