Rosie Mae Lynch

Rosie Lynch, 98, of Jasper, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022. She was born on November 4, 1924, in Jasper, to Ida Mae Cooey Kinsel and Gilbert Ashley Kinsel.

Rosie loved birds and was an avid gardener. Her love and knowledge of plants and flowers was second to none. In fact, if she was not answering her phone, you could bet, she was in her yard. Rosie was a hard worker and was not afraid of manual labor. She retired from Bethlem Steel as a welder.

Survivors include her children, Carroll Williams and his wife, JoAnn, of San Angelo; Mark Williams and his wife, Debbie, of San Angelo; Glenda Gillean of Hilltop Lakes; Angela Rogers and her husband, Bobby, of Buna; and Cynthia Rogers and her husband, David, of Keller; son-in-law, Jerry Folsom, of Jasper; grandchildren, Madonna, Jerry, Randy, Gretchen and her husband, Dale; Tonie and her husband, Jeff; Kimberly and her husband, Marty; Chrislynn and her husband, Jerry; Joey, Amy and her husband, Chad; Jason and his wife, Samantha; Danielle and her husband, Eric; Lance; Justin and his wife, Jennifer; Regina and her husband, Kristopher; Brandon and his wife, Kala, Taylor, Chad, and Ryan and his wife, Kimberly; great-grandchildren, Blake, Tabatha, Amanda, Hailey, Payden, Hannah, Presley, Layla, Sarah and her husband, Matthew; Hannah, Sarah, Jacob, Madison, Baileym Kaci, Lucas, Julianna, Kaden, Jentzen, Kennedy, Jaxon, Kellyn, and Rowen; great-great granddaughter, Parker, and numerous other family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, George “G.W.” Lynch, Sr.; daughters, Ann Jones and Winnie Folsom; grandson, Larry; granddaughter, Bonnie; and great-grandson, Brandon.

A gathering of Mrs. Lynch’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her interment will follow at Rest Lawn Memorial Park, Vidor.
