Ross Harold Compton, 88, of Sour Lake, died Monday, October 3, 2022, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont.
A gathering of Mr. Compton’s family and friends will be from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium.

I may have sweet and dreamless sleep tonight for first time since I was eight years old. Bud only abused me and my brother for 4 years but escaping his shadow lasted 50 years.
So sorry for your loss. Ross, was such a kind gentleman and good neighbor. He was always there and willing to offer his help. We will miss him as will others.
