Roy Lee Brittain
Roy Lee Brittain, 73, of Georgetown, Texas, gained his angel wings on December 2, 2023, surrounded by his devoted family. Lee was born on March 25, 1950, in Beaumont, Texas, to Roy Lee Brittain Jr. and Patsy Jane (Trageser) Brittain.
Lee was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He is survived by his high school sweetheart and loving wife of 52 years, Becky; son, Chris and his wife, Lisa, and grandchildren – Camryn and Colby of Celina, Texas; son, Ryan and his wife, Kellen, and granddogs – Boots, Ernie and Windy of Georgetown, Texas; brother, Patrick Brittain and family; extended family of in-laws, Dianne Reagan, John and Gwen Wilson, Nancy and Bob Cherry; and many special nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; in-laws, John and Ruth Wilson; and cherished dogs – Shadow and Rusty.
Lee was a longtime resident of Beaumont. Earlier this year, Lee and Becky moved to their lovely new home in Sun City and have enjoyed God’s beautiful hill country while being closer to their family. Lee graduated from Forest Park High School in 1969 and attended Lamar University. He joined and eventually ran the family business – Brittain Supply Company until 2000. He also managed Brittain Properties while he enjoyed a life mainly of retirement. He was a long-time member of Calvary Baptist Church in Beaumont and attended The Worship Place in Sun City. The most important thing in his life was his family and although he loved his children immensely, his grandchildren were extra special. He was not ashamed to show it and spoiled them at every chance. Lee cherished every sports event for his children and grandchildren and rarely missed a game. Lee and Becky were very involved in many community organizations throughout the years. They were blessed with many years of watching beautiful sunrises and sunsets from their beachfront getaway at Crystal Beach. Lee truly had a heart of gold, always looking out for others. He was one of the most selfless men you would ever meet. He impacted the lives of countless people and always welcomed his children’s friends and others like they were part of the family. Lee had a smile that was soft and gentle, full of kindness which often would turn mischievous, hinting at a secret or a joke. Lee made this world a better place and his legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of all of those that knew and loved him.
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. – John 3:16.

Becky and family,
We lift you up with our prayers of comfort in this most difficult time. We will miss our good friend and dinner buddy. We are thankful for all the good times that we four had together, and we look forward, Becky, to be there for you always. We love you so much.
Worked for Roy Brittain back in 1968, when it was Brittain Supply. Met Lee when his Daddy brought him into the business.
You could see the want of making his daddy proud in how he handled himself in
His education in the family business. Good guy and always pleasant to be around.
Roy Brittain helped me in my business start and that was instilled in Lee also.
Always helping his fellow man.

I am so sorry to hear of Lee’s passing. I have fond memories of him from when we grew up and the times I was around him. I pray God covers you all with his grace and love.
Becky,
My heartfelt Prayers are extended to you and Chris and Ryan and Family. Lee was such a true gentleman and someone that when you were around him always made you feel welcomed as a true friend. I’m so glad I had the opportunity to visit you two a few months back in Georgetown. Praying God’s Comfort and Strength for the days ahead my friend.
Missed seeing Lee and Becky, and their smiles. Glad to know they were having a better life near family. Our prayers go out to Becky and family, and we know Lee will see his heavenly reward.
God bless!
From the Roblyer’s Carolyn. Gene, Brian, Kevin and Brad. Please know it was our pleasure knowing Lee and your Family. He was a treasure to Beaumont and anyone who had the privilege of knowing him and your family.
God Bless
Lee has been a life long friend and was even our baby sitter back when we lived on Serene in the 60’s. There are a lot of happy memories from those days.. times were much simpler back then. Lee was one of the first people to do business with me back when I started out in industry. I would see him and Becky all over the place no matter where I went .. even when I was hundreds of miles away they would just be there and he always took the time to come catch up. I hope
to see him again one day. Condolences from the whole Guseman family to the Brittain family.
Becky,
So sorry to hear this. I will not be in town Saturday but please know I will keep you close to my heart and will pray for your family at this difficult time. I have sooooo many fond memories of both you and Lee, seems like yesterday we were acting crazy at our MASH events. Love you Yolanda 😘🙏
Chris, Lisa and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Lee. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I dealt with Mr. Brittain in a professional setting but his love for his family came through in every conversation we had. He was a very kind man. My condolences to the family.
I’m so very sorry for the loss of Mr. Brittain. And yes, I know I should call him Lee but I didn’t in life so, I won’t now. You all made me a part of your family when I was so very far away from my own and we had so many good times. I will always love Mr. Brittain and the Brittain family and am sending all my love your way. Mrs Brittain, I am so sorry and I love you very much.
Please accept our deepest condolences. Charles and Carlis Cole and family
Chris, Lisa & Family,

Lee and I were pretty close buds many years ago when I lived in Beaumont. He was always kind to others and a lot of fun to hang out with. We’ve not see each other in years but I will always remember him fondly. RIP Lee.

Becky, our hearts are breaking for you. You two were always together living life to the fullest! What an example for all of us! We are here for you. 💕
Ms Becky, Chris and family – so sorry for the loss of your companion, father, grandfather and friend to so many. I never saw Mr Lee that his face was not beaming with a smile and his shoulders squared in honor and pride of his entire family. There was nothing as valuable as giving of his time to be with his family and participate in family activities and/or accomplishments. He is already greatly missed. May the comfort and peace of his Creator be with all of you, his precious family! You all remain in my prayers and heart!
Becky, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
