Roy Lee Hackett
Roy Lee Hackett, 76, of Magnolia, died Sunday, October 22, 2023. He was born October 26, 1946, in Port Neches, to Dorothy Siau Hackett and R.L. Hackett.
Roy loved attending classic car shows. He loved to make people laugh. He loved to fish and could fix anything that was presented to him. He was a wonderful husband and a great father. He was always there for his family.
Survivors include his wife, Dianne Hackett of Magnolia; son, Jesse Lee Hackett and wife, Laura of The Woodlands; and grandchildren, Seth, Ethan, James, and Ava Hackett.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sons, Troy and Tony Hackett.
Mr. Hackett’s interment will be 11:30 a.m., Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.

Hi, Dianne it’s Brenda Bourque Howard. I’m so sorry for your loss .I remember when you and Roy Lee were married the day after Me and Freddie.I lost my Freddie a year ago and Mom May of this year. I’m sorry I couldn’t attend the Funeral .Me and my Daughter Michelle had to fly to Earl Howard Freddie’s brother Funeral ..I know we lost touch the last few years .I also know what it is to lose a child ,I lost my First Daughter in Cancer 11 year’s ago this Thanksgiving.My Heart goes out to you .I wish I could see you some time.I miss the good old neighborhood.Praying for you and your family 🙏💖
