Ruben Mark Doggett

Ruben Mark Doggett, 88, of Silsbee, died Sunday, October 5, 2025. He was born on September 15, 1937, in Hurstown, to Lola Belle Lout Doggett and Edgar Moore Doggett.

Survivors include his children, Marla Doggett of Beaumont; and Keri Arrington and her husband, Greg, of Silsbee; grandchildren, Zachary Hulet of Lumberton; Hannah Abbott and her husband, Devin, of Sour Lake; Brandon Stumpf, Kyler Stumpf, Milla Arrington, all of Silsbee, Briana Doggett of League City, and Savannah Doggett of Silsbee; great-grandchildren, Beau and Briggs Abbott of Sour Lake; and sisters, Jo Powell of Houston and Janice Lack of Silsbee.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carolyn Doggett; son, Billy Doggett; and brothers, Darrell and Spencer Edgar Doggett.

A gathering of Mr. Doggett’s family and friends will be 10:00 a.m., with his funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 10, 2025, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His interment will follow at Cunningham Cemetery, Silsbee.
