Ruth Ann Stanford Lackey

January 12, 1953 - July 28, 2021

Ruth Ann Stanford Lackey, 68, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, July 28, 2021. She was born on January 12, 1953, in Beaumont, to Viola “Alice” VanMeter and “H.P.” Stanford, Jr. Ruth graduated from French High School class of 1971.

Survivors include her husband of thirty years, Johnny Lee Lackey, Sr.; three stepchildren; nine grandchildren; sisters, Jane Psarianos, and Elizabeth Edmonds and her husband, Jerry; nieces, Leah Banta-Wylie and her husband, Christopher; Lara Banta; Catherine Lowrance and her husband, James; and Yvonne Duren; Tiffany McCormick; and Holly Matthews; nephews, Donovan Banta; Christopher Gonzales; and John David Edmonds; and numerous grandnieces and grandnephews.

Ruth is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, H.P. “Perry” Stanford, III.; and John B. Stanford.

A memorial service for Mrs. Lackey will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 1, 2021, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A gathering of her family and friends will follow until 5:00 p.m. Her cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
