Ruthena Gaye Johnston
Ruthena Gaye Johnston, 89, of Fallon, Nevada, died on Thursday, May 15, 2025. She was born on June 8, 1935, in Alamogordo, New Mexico, to Ella Eva Champion and Joy B. Bailey.
Survivors include her daughters, Ella Johnston-Leger of China, Texas and Diane Dalton of Clover Valley, Nevada; son, Robby Johnston of Fernley, Nevada; and sister, Eva Wilburn of Brenham, Texas; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ruthena is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Uhel Johnston; two brothers, and sister.
A celebration of Mrs. Johnston’s life will be 3:00 p.m., Monday, May 26, 2025, at Beaumont Elks Lodge 311, 11431 US-90, Beaumont. Her cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
