Ruthie Dewees
Ruthie Dewees, 69, of Winnie, died Thursday, March 4, 2021, at Christus Southeast Texas-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. She was born on November 13, 1951, to Eva Grace Dewees and Perry Dewees, in Port Arthur.
Survivors include her sister-in-law, Beverly Dewees; nieces, Debie Martin, Michelle Bozeman, Misty Coleman; nephew, Bobby Dewees; and numerous great-nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Larry Ray Dewees and Hiram Glen Dewees.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview Cemetery Road, Winnie, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

I'm so sorry to hear of Ruthie passing she was such a woman of God i know she is rejoicing with her family

I remember Sis. Ruthie playing the bass guitar with all her heart. I was a new convert Apostolic back in the late 90s in Winnie and I remember looking up to her as an example of steadfast faithfulness to the house of God, I was a teen and needed direction like that. She will be missed. My prayers for her family in this time. Follow your aunt Ruthie's God, and plan of salvation Acts 2:38! I know she loved and adored you all so much, she spoke often of her nieces and nephews.
