Ryan Neal Brooks
Ryan Neal Brooks, 47, of Winnie, died Thursday, May 23, 2024. He was born on October 8, 1976, in, Beaumont, to Sandra Broussard and Ronny Brooks.
Ryan liked spending his time fishing, hunting, watching sports, and working. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. He greatly enjoyed sitting by the lake with his children fishing. He was looking forward to the birth of his first grandbaby.
Survivors include his father, Ronny Brooks, of Winnie; mother, Sandy and her husband, Al Manela, of Iowa, Louisiana; sons, Tyler Neal of Winnie and Kaden Hunter Brooks, of Nederland; daughter, Taylor Michelle Brooks, of Lumberton; sister, Brandy Lynn Simon, of Iowa, Louisiana; and his brothers, Ronny Joseph “R.J.” Brooks and his wife, Daphney, of Winnie, and Jordan Manela, and his wife, Shavon, of Iowa, Louisiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, J.R. and Betty Jo Brooks, maternal grandparents, Murphy and Lillie Broussard.
A gathering of Mr. Brooks’ family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m., with his funeral service to begin at 11:00a.m., Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. His interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.

We are deeply sorry for the loss of a wonderful man …He was definitely a great one and we are trully gonna miss the times we had with him on his lake ..Thoses was the last days we got to see him 🫶
