I remember Sam from French High School and I was just talking to my son-in-law asking him if he knew Sam from the ham radio group.I told him Sam was the nicest guys and always had a smile on his face . To Sam’s family he was a great guy and he is standing up walking fine with that smile on his gentle face.

    Cousin Sammy,
I attended your funeral yesterday and it was nice. I teared up several times as I remember you from our young days at St. Michael Orthodox Church.
Our Church seemed smaller then but we were one big mostly happy family. You mother Dorothy and Your father Sam were such dedicated workers and always a joy to be around. You very close cousin David Accardo was there and he brought Marie Bando. Also cousin Ronnie Moses and his wife Mary. Shaheen Farrah was there as well. It was a good send off but I wanted to speak and share my memories of you. The one was summer 1964 up at Camp Urland in Woodville. Our fledging Scout Troop 13 was attending summer camp. I was there but on the Camp Staff. I know how proud we were of you spending that week at Camp. You over came most ever obstacle with a big small on your face. You and the rest of our small Troop won the Scout Spirit Award. Well you lived a great life in spite of the difficulties you faced. Cousin Bucky

His grandparents were my neighbors many years.
I remember his parents and the family well. Sam was a determined young man although he had health issues.
Thinking of his family during this difficult time.

So many sweet memories of Sam Jr. I remember him helping his dad with whatever Sam was doing at the time-the busiest guy around! Sam Jr. always had a huge friendly smile on his face. I will never forget him crossing the stage at high school graduation and the entire building giving him a standing ovation. Sam Jr. was loved by all.

    Darlene Holland Smith says:

Knowing Sam Jr. growing up was a beautiful lesson in kindness. I never saw him upset, always the sweetest smile and always seemed happy. I was blessed to have known him. Sorry I won’t be able to attend service but will be praying for all the family.,

    Joe Holland says:

A wonderful friend and neighbor. Only fond memories of Sammy, Robert, Mary, and Judy, with wonderful parents Dorothy and Sam. They were the best neighbors and friends anyone could ask for. I pray for comfort for the loss of their brother.
