I am sorry for the loss of Mr. Lisenby, though I know he is with his Lord. My memories of Mr. and Mrs. Lisenby are those of kindness, patience, and Christian witness. I spent a lot of time in their home as a young boy, hanging out with my friend Phil. My prayers are with all the family. Johnny Dammon, Lake Charles, LA.

    Shari Stark says:

I only talked to Mr. Lisenby once. I lived down the road from him and stopped to talk to him once and he gave me a nice wooden back scratcher. Nice man. I always admired his yard being so neat and nice and enjoyed seeing him outside often. I will miss seeing him. I knew he had lost his wife years ago. Nice to think they are together again. Prayers for his family.

I am so sorry for the loss of your father, grandfather, and friend. I will miss Uncle Shafter. Now my mom is the only one of the eleven siblings left. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

    Terri K. Thompson says:

My heart grieves for your loss. I love brother Sam so much. He was so very kind to me as a little girl teaching me to tie my shoes and how to use a knife as being left-handed. Nobody could help but him. They just don’t make them like brother Sam brother Joe anymore, love and prayers are with all of you!
