Sandra Gail Holdsworth, 67, of Orange, Texas, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021. She was born on May 28, 1954, in Bossier City, Louisiana, to Ruby Lee Sepulvado and Richard Durning Holdsworth.

Sandy was the heart of her family.  Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her.  She was so proud of each of them and their accomplishments.  She was loving and warm, never hesitating to say “I love you” or “I miss you”.  Sandy was a devoted sister and loved her extended family immensely.  She absolutely loved sharing stories with family members around the kitchen table.  Sandy looked forward to holidays spent with family.  She loved holiday meals and decorating her Christmas trees.  She had a special story for each and every ornament.  Sandy’s hobbies were sewing, crocheting, and quilting.  She enjoyed shopping for beautiful fabrics and yarns.  Sandy took such pride in making prom dresses, altering wedding dresses, and working on dance costumes.  She often crocheted and quilted handmade pieces for loved ones.  She found so much happiness in giving these heartfelt creations.  Sandy was also a music lover.  She loved closing her eyes and listening to a favorite song on the radio.  She also enjoyed watching her favorite bands perform live.  She was an excellent dancer.  She could often be found dancing to live cajun, zydeco, and country music.  Sandy also discovered she loved relaxing on the beach at Seaside, Florida.  She loved watching the sunset at the Savannah Pavilion.  On the shore, she found a sense of peace and visited there often.  She surrounded herself with all things “beachy” to remember those Seaside memories.  Sandy was a devoted employee of Walmart for twenty-six years.  She worked in the Jasper, Orange, and Bridge City locations over the course of her employment.  Sandy took great care in her work, always giving one hundred percent to her position.
