Scott Fuller Taylor
It is with great sadness that we announce Scott Fuller Taylor, age 66, passed away in the hospital at Beaumont Texas, on 5/13/2025
Scott was born on September 12, 1958, in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, to Ned Taylor, and Margaret Boyd Taylor. Scott has resided in California with his wife Shari since 1999. Scott and Shari were married for twenty-six years.
Scott proudly, and patriotically served his country in the Navy, working on Nuclear Submarines for thirteen years. After an honorable discharge, Scott worked for “GP Strategies” for more than thirty-five years, as a “Principal Training Specialist.” He loved working for, and being with his customers, and he especially loved teaching in the classroom and in the training facilities. He also valued working with his colleagues for many years. During his life, Scott traveled extensively all over the United States, and all over the world. The only state he hadn’t been to is Hawaii.
Scott was a gifted trumpet player, and he loved listening to music. Music was his passion, and he stayed up many nights, late into the night, listening to his favorites… Scott was always very involved in politics. He described himself as a Libertarian, and slightly right of center. He always loved political discussions, and he was incredibly intelligent, and quick witted. He was involved in a political group in Menifee California, where he was truly enjoying the possibilities of bringing both sides of the political spectrum together on common ground.
Scott loved his family more than anything on earth, and he loved to laugh. He was happiest when he was around the children and grandchildren on birthdays and holidays, or just a causal visit. He’s known to the kids as “Pop Pop.”
He is survived by his wife, Shari; stepchildren, Jessica, Dustin, Justine, Tyler and Jayme; step grandchildren, Natalie, Jonah, Miles, and Hazel; his two beloved Dachshunds, Francie and Beans; sisters, Evelyn and Martha; nephews and niece, Ash, RJ, and Meggie, and their children.
Mr. Taylor’s cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
In the end it’s not the years in your life that count, it’s the life in your years.” – Abraham Lincoln
I was so saddened to hear the news. A few days after I heard about you in the hospital.. I wanted to write you on the NextDoor app about new places opening up and what I thought about them.. hoping you’d respond.. We would always talk about random French valley community stuff, my football throws down the street, what we have tried at the new Toro Sushi, or how big my babies have gotten (you’ve seen me through 2 pregnancies now!) Really going to miss you and your contagious smile and love for small talk when I would visit my parent’s house. Rest in peace Scott, watch over all of us 💛 it was a blessing to know you – Lynnea
I met Scott while I was running a project in Valencia CA from that point on worked together at GP for 30+ years and to say he was intelligent is an understatement and he was one of the finest individuals I have ever known he will be missed.
Scott will be sorely missed and often remembered. One of the best!
