Sergio Alejandro Ruiz

Sergio Alejandro Ruiz, 29, of Beaumont, died Sunday, October 26, 2025. He was born on October 2, 1996, in Juticalpa, Olancho, to Dora Del Carmen Mena Mena and Danico De Jejus Ruiz Guifaro.

How to explain to someone who is Sergio? He was a funny, hard working, grouchy, but loving man. He came to this country at a very young age in attempts to help his mother and brother. He has lived in Florida, New York, Louisiana, and Texas. He spent the majority of his time in Texas in attempts to stay near his son, Kevin. He did everything in his power to remain near him, support him and show him how much love he had for him. Lately he felt he truly was maturing and had settled down with a girlfriend who loved him very much. He has a very large family who cares for him and the impact this loss has caused is tremendous. This world wont be the same without him. We pray he has found peace.

He is survived by his son, Kevin Ruiz of Silsbee; parents, Dora Mena of Honduras and Danilo Ruiz of Miami, Florida; brother, Yefri Ruiz and his wife, Katherine, of Honduras; girlfriend, Paola Linares of Houston; and numerous cousins and extended family.

A gathering of Sergio’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Honduras.

Como se le puede explicar a alguien quien es Sergio? El era un hombre gracioso, trabajador, bravo, pero con mucho amor. El se vino muy joven de Honduras para ayuda sacar adelante a su mama y hermano. El vivió un rato en Florida, Nueva York, Louisiana, y Texas. El perteneció mas tiempo en Texas para estar cerca a su hijo, Kevin. El siempre hizo todo lo posible para estar cerca de el, apoyarlo, y demostrarle que el lo quería. El últimamente había madurado bastante y tenia una novia que lo quería demasiado. El tiene una inmensa familia que lo quiero

El dejo a su hijo,  Kevin Ruiz de Silsbee. Sus padres, Dora mena de Honduras y Danilo Ruiz de Honduras. A su hermano, Yefri Ruiz y su esposa, Katherine, de Honduras. Su novia, Paola Linares de Houston. Y demasiados primos.

Se van a unir entre familia y amistades de Sergio a las 5:00 pm hasta las 8:00pm, Sábado , Noviembre 1, 2025, en Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee, Texas. Un segundo velorio se ba tomar lugar en Honduras.
