Sharlott Yvonne Skinner

Sharlott Yvonne Skinner, 78, of Silsbee, died Saturday, February 21, 2026. She was born on July 25, 1947, in Brownswood, to Lois Margie McDaniel Poe and Joel Hollis Poe.

Survivors include her children, Gerald Wayne Skinner, Jr. and his wife, Dawn, of Silsbee; David Lee Skinner and his wife, Angie, of Fairfield; and Theresa Morgan and her husband, Mark; of Silsbee; grandchildren, Matthew Skinner and his wife, Jeannie, of Silsbee; Courtney Rodriguez and her husband, Jeremy, of Seguin; Heather Lucas and her husband, Morgan, of Silsbee; Hannah Kimmel of Silsbee; Amber Martin and her husband, Kenneth, of Whitney; Megan Cogburn and her husband, Zach, of Godley; David Lee Skinner, Jr. of Fairfield; Shelby Denton and her husband, Jared, of Waxahachie; Chasity Sam of Port Arthur; Dylan Morgan and his wife, Jayla, of Beaumont; and Hope Morgan of Silsbee; great-grandchildren, Landon Skinner, Hayden Skinner, Ivy Skinner, Sway Sutton, Darrell O’Quinn, Callie Cogburn, Calvin Cogburn, Tempist Rodriguez, Rocklyn Rodriguez, Owen Rodriguez, Leon Rodriguez, Tytan Rodrigues, Apollo Rodriguez, Ryder Golightly, Leah Lucas, Joel Lucas, Abel Lucas, Londyn Martin, Kenzley Martin, Jaycie Martin, Derek Denton, Blake Denton, Andrew Denton, Carter Denton, and Kayce Morgan; great-great-grandchildren, Christopher Wayne Sutton and Gage Quinn Wells; and brother, Virgel Poe and his wife, Judy, of Clyde.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald Skinner, Sr.; and her brother, Joe Hollis Poe, Jr.

A gathering of Mrs. Skinner’s family and friends will be 10:00 a.m., with her funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 27, 2026, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her interment will follow at R.S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery, Silsbee.
