Sharon Fowler White

Sharon Fowler White, 78, of Lumberton, died Wednesday, January 12, 2022.  She was born on October 4, 1943, in Nacogdoches, to Gwendolyn Pitts Fowler and Jefferson Earl Fowler.

Survivors include her children, Debbie Slayter of Lumberton and Jerry White and his wife, Glenda, of Port Acres; grandchildren, Jeremy Slayter and his wife, Jenise; Bryce Slayter and his wife, Danielle; and Jerred White and his wife, Haley, all of Lumberton; Jessica White of Kountze; Jerrica Savage and her husband, Justin, of Beaumont; Jake White of Kountze; and Tiffaney Chandler of Port Acres; great-grandchildren, Mindalyn Slayter, Samantha Slayter, Nova Savage, Sage Savage, Ava Lucas, Jett White, Maddox Woods, Isaac Roane, Cheyanne Damron, and Colton Damron; siblings, Claxton Fowler and his wife, Patty and Linda Eaves and her husband, James, all of Lumberton; and Rick Fowler and his wife, Kathy, of Kountze; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Homer B. White.

A gathering of Mrs. White’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 14, 2022, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at Pineridge Cemetery, Kountze.  Please observe social distancing guidelines.

    I’ve know Sharon as long as any class mate She had relatives in Village Mills where my grandparents lived. She has always been one of the nicest girls in our class. She was quiet and sweet young lady. Prayers for her family.
