Sharon Kay Smith, 72, of Beaumont, died Sunday, June 4, 2023. She was born on August 26, 1950, in Roanoke, Virginia, to Alma Setliff and Orval Wayne Suits. Sharon loved her garden. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time attending to her flower bed. Sharon also loved horses.
Survivors include her husband, James Smith.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial contributions may be made to Westgate Memorial Baptist Church Mission Fund, 6220 Westgate Drive, Beaumont, Texas 77706.
Cremation arrangements for Mrs. Smith were held through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
So sorry to hear of Kay’s passing. She was a great lady. I enjoyed our time during “home church” and the building of Community Baptist. She was an inspiration to me and a hard, working person. Kay was a good friend to me and I enjoyed discussing the Bible with her.
