Sheree Jorene LeBlanc

April 26, 1956 - July 2, 2022

Sheree Jorene LeBlanc, 66, of Beaumont, died Saturday, July 2, 2022. On that morning Sheree had a cardiac arrest at the group home where she lived and despite the best efforts of Beaumont EMS and Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas – Beaumont Emergency Room, she is now resting in the arms of Jesus.

Sheree was born on April 26, 1956, in Kirbyville. She had an anoxic brain injury at birth. Despite this, she eventually learned to walk, talk, and graduated from Kirbyville High School. Sheree loved music, especially Elvis. She loved her tablets and cell phones. Sheree loved to do word search puzzles and her favorite place to shop was Dollar Tree. Sheree loved her family and remembered everyone’s birthday.

Survivors include her brother, Alan Dyer and his wife, Margaret; sister, Carolyn Pryor Williams; and her nieces and nephews; and other friends and family at Texas HCS group home.

Sheree is preceded in death by her father, Jerome Joseph LeBlanc; mother, Florene Peveto; and older sister, Dianne Grant Hoxsey.

Memorial contributions may be made to an organization of one’s choice.

Cremation arrangements for Ms. LeBlanc were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Due to illness in her immediate family, a private memorial service for her will be held at a late date.
