Sheri “Niki” McKinley
Sherí “Niki” McKinley, 43, of Sour Lake, died Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at Christus Southeast Texas-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. She was born on November 20, 1976, to Edna Portia Wright and Christopher Albert Maida III, in Beaumont.
Niki was an incredible artist who enjoyed freehand art. She was very fond of being in the sun and going to the beach. She had a very playful personality who was kindhearted and full of life. Niki was in love with Ridley Turtles.
Survivors include her father, Chris Maida; mother, Portia Wright; sons, Trey McKinley, Cain McKinley, and Colin McKinley, all of Beaumont; grandson, Joel McKinley; sister, Danielle Wood and her husband, Jason, of China; brother, Dylan Frazier of Beaumont; nieces and nephews, J.C. Wood, Lillie Wood, Jaxson Wood, and Darren Frazier; and numerous relatives and friends.
A gathering of Mrs. McKinley’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 5, 2020, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 6, 2020, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
