Sherry Beth Wanca

Sherry Beth Wanca, 77, of Beaumont, died Sunday, February 21, 2021. She was born on January 8, 1944, to Syble Estelle Ray and John Lee Moore, in Beaumont.

Survivors include her daughters, Marcie Morgan and Paige Morgan; sister, Delores Webb; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents; John Lee and Syble Moore Ray; brothers, Owen Kent and John Larry Moore; and her husband, Bill “Hawk” Wanca.

Sherry was an awesome hairdresser and sales representative for Acme Truckline and was honored as “Transportation Woman of the Year” many times.

She loved her family and friends and especially her long awaited granddaughter, Athena Haley Morgan!

A memorial service for Mrs. Wanca will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 28, 2021, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her cremation will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium.
