Sherry Darlene Sunday, 72, of Silsbee, died Friday, October 28, 2022.  She was born on December 21, 1949, in Lufkin, to Margie Quine Gray and Richard Robert Gray.

Survivors include her children, Sammy Reynolds and his wife, Michelle, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Theresa Reynolds of O’Fallon, Illinois; Suzette Talley and her husband, David, of Silsbee; and Richard Sunday and his wife, Amanda, of Orange; her angel, Roxie Loftin of Silsbee; nineteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Trish Davis and her husband, Gerald, of Lufkin; and lifelong friends, Beverly Jones and Gloria Sutherland and her husband, Ronnie.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur Sunday; son, Scott Sunday; daughter, Tonya Breaux; and siblings, Robert Gray, Jerry Gray, Debbie Tillar, and Lynn Gray.

A gathering of Mrs. Sunday’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 31, 2022, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at Village Mills Cemetery, Village Mills.

Your Mom was so lucky and blessed that she had you, an amazing daughter. You are the sweetest girl, always taking care of others before yourself. Your Mom knew how blessed she was to have you, she loved you so much for being her amazing angel daughter. You will have complete and heavenly peace knowing that you loved her, she loved you, and you did everything possible for her to have a good and happy life.
