My condolences to Shelley and the entire family.
We were neighbors on Corley Avenue back in the late ‘60’s and I remember Ms Leger as an elegant and kind person.

    Merrye Kenesson Gratzer says:

Shurdell taught me the ropes of being a retail buyer at the Downtown White House 55 years ago. What a great time we had sharing office space and traveling to the Dallas and New York markets. Prayers for Shelly and the rest of her family.

    Montgomery says:

I first crossed paths with Shurdell in 1979 when she hired me to work in stocking and display at the Casual Corner store in Parkdale Mall. This I quickly discovered: she was always, without fail, full of life, outgoing and beautiful inside and out. She seemed to smile with her eyes. Throughout the years I would occasionally see her and each time she was the same kind, joyful, warm hearted, engaging person I had always known; completely authentic, and an absolute pleasure to see. Her immediate loving energy was always something you could count on. Shelley, I’m certainly thinking of you and your extended family. I know Shurdell will be sorely missed.

Shurdell was a sweet person, so energetic and caring. I worked with her sister, Jenny Bland and the two of them were like the “dynamic duo”—fun to be around! She will be missed! My sympathy!
