Hello family and friends of my sweet cousin Steve. I’m one of his many Roebuck/Bland relatives. He was such a kind gentleman. When my Daddy (James Joshua Roebuck) passed I remember Steve’s comforting words to me. I was trying to be strong and Steve’s gentle hug and kindness really helped me. For all of us that knew Steve, may God bless us with the strength to accept God’s will.
Uncle Steve owns a special piece of my heart. I remember him giving me the first toy I loved from my childhood; I was not quite 4 and he would have been 17. Not only giving it to me, but playing with me and laughing so hard. After he joined the Baytown police, He taught me to respect police officers and know them as friends and family. Most of all, he showed me the love of your family lasts through pretty much every challenge life brings. He will be with me forever in my heart. May God grant all my family peace; I love you guys.
I knew Steve, but I think he had just left Baytown when I hired on. Rest easy, Sir.
Mr. Sims,
Thanks and he will be greatly remembered. Also I have several other photos as well as his Police Academy Book to share if you would like.
Regards,
Steve Jr
Love and prayers for all the family. I have so many special memories, from Uncle Steve helping me with Math homework (he was brilliant at Math) to him telling Mom and I how much he loves her tea cake cookies. Mom and I a few years ago made tea cakes and shipped them to him because we were unable to go there during the holidays. He will forever has a special place in my heart!
Thank you Michelle.
Prayers & much love for the family 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
Thank you so much Renee.
