Tommie Sue Hall

June 30, 1946 - May 2, 2021

Sue Hall, 74, of High Island, died Sunday, May 2, 2021. She was born on June 30, 1946, in San Augustine, to Mary Christie and Dewey Williams.

Sue married Howard Hall on January 26, 1965. She worked for many years at the High Island Post Office where she was loved by all.  She served her church as a piano player, Sunday school teacher and secretary for many years. She loved life and was always smiling. She was a precious wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was her joy, especially the great grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of fifty-six years, Howard “Gene” Hall, Sr.; daughters, Selina Hall and partner, Paul Bobino; sons, Howard “Gene” Hall, Jr. and his wife, Diana; and Trey Hall and his wife, Heather; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions for Mrs. Hall may be made to First Pentecostal Church, PO Box 332, High Island, Texas 77623.

A gathering of Mrs. Hall’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 7, 2021, at Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 8, 2021, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at High Island Cemetery, High Island.
