Susan Anne Josey

Susan Anne Josey, 67, of Buna, died Wednesday, December 5, 2024. She was born on August 17, 1957, in Buffalo, New York, to Patricia Elizabeth Wynne Hester and Truman Hester.

Survivors include her husband, William Josey; daughter, Crystal Capps and her fiancé, Casey Bagley, of Carthage; grandchildren, Gunner Capps and his wife, Katelynn, of Lindale; Alli Parker and her husband, Clancy, of Carthage; siblings, Gregory Hester and his spouse, Chris Bentsen of Hempstead; Scott Hester and his wife, Melinda, of Papillion, Nebraska; and Elizabeth Welch and her husband, Lynne, of Maurice, Louisiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Abbott; and son-in-law, Shane Capps.

Mrs. Josey’s cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
