Tamara “Tammy” McCown
Tamara Lee “Tammy” McCown, 56, of Nederland, died Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas, Port Arthur. She was born September 11, 1965, in Springfield, Illinois, to Ethel Lydia Somerfield Smuck and Frank Smuck.
Survivors include her husband, Donald McCown; son, Dylan McCown, both of Nederland; stepdaughter, Kristen Wilson, of Mineola; granddaughter, Kaylee Wilson; sister, Peggy LeBlanc and husband, Greg, of Nederland; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jack Wise; and sister, Carol Isom.
Mrs. McCown’s graveside service will be 3:30 p.m., Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, 618 Block, Port Neches, Texas, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
