Ted Edwin Swor

Ted Edwin Swor, 91, of Winnie, died Thursday, February 9, 2023. He was born September 11, 1931, in Groves, to Ola Elliot and Arlie David Swor.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-eight years, Elsie Hargraves Swor; son, Billy Swor and wife, Diana; daughter, Betty Whitehead and husband, Lee; granddaughters, Tiffany Swor and Madison Swor; grandsons, Cade Swor and wife, Sarah; Brad Whitehead and wife, April; and Taylor Whitehead and wife, Lauren; great-granddaughter, Kellan Swor; and great-grandson, Knox Swor.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Rose Gerrietts; and brothers, Kenneth Swor; Charles Swor; and Jessie Earl Jeans.

A gathering of Mr. Swor’s family and friends will begin at 1:30 p.m., with his funeral service at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at First Baptist Church, 25304 TX-124, Hamshire. His interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.
