Ted Jeter
Ted Erwin Jeter, 70, of Beaumont, died Friday, February 4, 2022. He was born on January 19, 1952, in Port Arthur, Texas, to Syble Wiley and Louis C. Jeter.
For thirty years, Ted worked as the welding shop manager and was part owner of Spillar Custom Hitches in Austin, Texas. He was a proud graduate of Port Neches-Groves High School. Ted was an avid photographer, horticulturist, fisherman, gun collector, gold miner, and world traveler. He skied the Swiss Alps and cruised the Caribbean and North Pacific Ocean. He truly had “been there and done that.” Ted was an ardent and active supporter of our military veterans and first responders.
Survivors include his wife, Belinda; daughter, Suzy Saenz, son, Charlie Adams III and his wife Kelly; grandsons, Ben Adams of Austin, Adam Saenz, Wade Adams, and Aiden Saenz of Silsbee; siblings, Judy Sutton of Port Neches and Sherrill Jeter of Austin; niece Sheri Sutton of Port Neches and great nieces Alexis Priess and wife Courtney Priess of Groves, Ariel Werner of Nederland, and great-great niece Ashtyn LaGrappe of Groves. He is preceded in death by his parents Syble and husband Everett Wiley and Louis C. Jeter.

A celebration of life will be held for Ted for his family and friends at a future date.

I found out today that you were gone. I will miss you as you made my life better. Prayers to the family. I will truly miss you and the positive things you brought to my life. Wait for me on the other side ill be along when its my turn.
Ted, I was always excited to be around you. You could light up a life, man. You lit mine up. More than once, too!! You knew your stuff, too, that’s for sure. You, dude, knew how to connect those dots. Sure do love you and gonna miss you a lot. And I know you’re not finished.
Rest In Peace, Big Guy, knowing how loved you are. You were my first love and my forever friend. A little piece of my heart went to heaven with you. My condolences to BK and the family.
BK, I do not know you, but Ted Loved you so much. In our last conversation on FB, PM, (1.27.2022) we were talking finance stuff. He said wistfully, I set a goal for savings, so that if anything happened to me, my wife could live comfortably after I’m gone. He said, “I just hit the goal”.

Oh Ted, thank God we had our long brotherly and sisterly reminiscence on your 70th birthday, January 19. We covered all our happy times including Switzerland and your many cruises ending with all our trials and tribulations but you ended at peace with the wonderful loving life you had even if it stopped tomorrow. Ted, you are so loved by all of your Sutton/Werner/Priess/LaGrappe girls! We will miss you!
