My sisters & brothers grew up with Dottie, Dale & Diane. Dottie was always sweet & really funny. My sister Sonya, Dottie & I used to sit on the swing set & listen to “Georgia on my Mind” by Ray Charles. We had an old cassette player & old used cassettes. But we played that song over & over until we knew the words, then we would record the song over the old cassette! We thought we were the Supremes! Dottie, I have great memories of you tucked away in my heart where they will be until I’m gone. You will sure be missed! RIP my friend. Love you lots! Tab

I’m saddened to hear about Dottie. Dottie was lovely inside and out. She was a blessing to all who knew her. Her students loved her as did those whom she worked with at Silsbee ISD. She had a quick wit which would lighten anyone’s mood. More importantly her love of the Lord shined brightly for others to see and for her to witness to. Rest in peace dear Dottie.🙏🏻💜✝️
