Teresa Romero Loza

Teresa Romero Loza, 77, of Beaumont, died Sunday, August 21, 2022. She was born on November 16, 1944, in Mexico, to Maria Loza and Rafael Romero.

Survivors include her children, Rosa Valadez; Delia Valadez; Alicia Perez and her husband, Carlos; Samuel Valadez and his wife, Victoria; Filiberto Valadez; Baudelio Valadez and his wife, Guadalupe; Silvia Rodriguez and her husband, Victor; and Blanca Guzman and her husband, Victor; grandchildren, Stephanie, Fatima, Adriana, Hugo, Edgar, Rogelio, Carlos, Omar, Miriam, Samuel, Camila, Karen, Alexis, Leonardo, Justin, Enrique, Christina, Daniel, Manuel, Jose, Juan, Antonio, Alan, Jonathan; twenty-three great-grandchildren; siblings, Martha Romero; Guadalupe Romero; Carmen Romero; Enrique Romero; Salvador Romero; Baudelio Romero; and numerous other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Elvira.

A gathering of Mrs. Loza’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with her Rosary to be recited at 7:30 p.m., Friday, August 26, 2022, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 767 Avenue A, Beaumont, with her interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
