Terry Glenn Whitton

Terry Glenn Whitton, age 63, of Houston, died Wednesday, October 8, 2025. He was born on September 3, 1962, to Kerry King Whitton and Edith Jane Peacock in Port Arthur, Texas.

Terry earned a Bachelor of Science in Energy and a Master of Finance from University of Houston. He began working at Arthur Anderson and later at Tennaco. He also worked for an oil and gas pipeline service where he retired.

Terry is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years, Lana Dieringer of Houston, Texas; sister, Janie Elizabeth Peacock, and step-parent, Jerry Nelson Peacock, both of Beaumont, Texas; uncle, Bob Musson of Bentonville, Arkansas; cousins, Darlene (Mark) Musson Sherrod and Troy (Robbie) Musson of Bentonville, Arkansas; a very special cousin and friend, Jerry Whitton; and other beloved family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Kerry King Whitton and Edith Jane Musson.

Terry was a great friend and loved hanging out with his friends. He enjoyed reading and travelling.  He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

A gathering of Mr. Whitton’s family and friends will be from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium.
