Terry Wayne Blanton

Terry Wayne Blanton, 76, of Spurger died May 31, 2025. He was born on March 3, 1949, in Nacogdoches, to Mary Reece Blanton and Thomas E. Blanton.

Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Blanton; daughters, Christina Greenwood and her husband, James “Doot”; and Theresa Richardson and her husband, Melvin, all of Spurger; and granddaughters, Gracie Greenwood; Chasity Richardson; Della Greenwood; Tori Richardson; and Faith Greenwood.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Thomas Blanton; and brothers, Mike Blanton and Christopher Blanton.

A gathering of Mr. Blanton’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Spurger, 12676 FM 92, Spurger. His funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Spurger, with his interment to follow at Beech Creek Cemetery, Spurger, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
