I knew Mrs. Seagler by her son, Jerry. For a period of time Jerry and I attended the Nederland schools together. I remember Mrs. Seagler as a kind woman and protective mother. I am very sorry for this loss to her family.
I met Joyce at our church, Hillcrest Baptist, in Nederland. She was a precious and special lady, that I enjoyed visiting with tremendously. She loved being at Sunday School and church, and often came even when she didn’t feel well. She was tender hearted, loving, humorous, and had a kind servant’s heart.
I will miss her greatly.
I am so sorry for her family’s loss, and will be praying for all of you.
