Theresa Marie Fontenot

Theresa Marie Fontenot, 75, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, November 30, 2022. She was born on June 29, 1947, to Violet Elizabeth Fohne and Alex Karicky Mahmod, in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania.

Survivors include her sons, William Wright and his wife, Cathy, of San Antonio and Herman Wright and his wife, Audrey, of Buna; daughter, Mary Wright Parfait of Lumberton; sisters, Ruth Woods of Beaumont; Alberta Michalik and her husband, Richard, of Shenandoah, Pennsylvania; and Debra Kessler and her husband, Tom, of Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania; brothers, John Mahmod and his wife, Carol and Joseph Mahmod and his wife, Eleanor, all of Shenandoah, Pennsylvania; fifteen grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jessie James Fontenot and son, David Louis Wright.

A gathering of Mrs. Fontenot’s family and friends will be from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Sunday, December 4, 2022, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 5, 2022, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at China Cemetery, China.
