Theresa Suzanne “Suzy” Buehrle
Theresa Suzanne “Suzy” Buehrle, 57, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, April 8, 2026. She was born on August 3, 1968, in Beaumont, to Geneva Etue and Linton Broussard.
Suzy graduated from TJ High School in Port Arthur in 1986, she worked for many years at Sartin’s seafood, where she built lasting friendships, before continuing her passion for helping others through her work at a local dance studio. Suzy was a long-time member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church of Beaumont. She married John in December 2008 in Beaumont. Suzy always loved children and had a giving heart where they were concerned. Over the past 10 years she worked for I Rule, a local Dance studio, where she was able to help inspire children through dance.
You could always find a smile on Suzy’s face at any Dance recital or competition whether in Beaumont, San Antonio, New York, California, or Biloxi, she would be there to nurture, tutor and support each and everyone of them. No one was ever left behind, even if she had to take them herself.
Survivors include her husband, John Buehrle; daughters, Cache Buehrle and Chateau Balsamo; stepdaughters, Ashley Creel (Brad); Kimberly Buehrle; Taylor Buehrle; grandchildren, Alec Westbrook, Ryan Creel, Carter Creel, Kamrie Roulaine, Adrianna Ruiz, Alaina Ruiz, and Sarah Balsamo; brother, Pierre Broussard (Maria); stepfather, Bob Branshaw; and father-in-law, Howard Caywood & Aunt, Cindy Buehrle Richman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law, Dale Buehrle; mother-in-law, Patsy Buehrle Caywood; and granddaughter, Ezria Roulaine.
A special tribute to some close family friends who were like family, Billy and Donna Carter, Heath and Aimee Carter, Shawna Carter and Dylan Carter.
Memorial contributions for Mrs. Buehrle may be made to an organization of one’s choice.
A memorial service for Mrs. Buehrle will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 9, 2026, at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 1350 North 23rd Street, Beaumont. Cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, and her urn will be placed in the memorial garden at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church.
Truly Suzy will be missed and remembered forever!

After a lifetime of friendship, since kindergarten, to gradating together, I always knew our heart strings were connected, regardless of time or distance. I am so sorry for your loss. I met Suzy when she came to Dowlen Oaks with Cachet on hip for At Andy’s services. We shared so much through the years, Bible study, Thanksgiving dinners, etc. My heart is with you.
