Thomas Talbert

Thomas Truett Talbert, 82, of San Antonio, died Tuesday, October 12, 2021. He was born November 25, 1938, in Port Arthur, to Margaret Eugenia Oliver Talbert and George Truett Talbert. Thomas was a United States Air Force veteran.

Survivors include his children, Jason Talbert and wife, Cynthia, of San Antonio; John Talbert and wife, Jeri, of Kingwood; and Jeff Talbert and wife, Tammy; grandchildren, Dillion Talbert; Schuyler Talbert; Chandler Talbert; Rumer Talbert; Kaitlyn Hollier; Kelley Hollier; Christopher Cantu; Carolyn Gonzales; Vanessa Rodriguez; Brendan Talbert; Mandy Talbert; and Missy Talbert; and brother, Ronald Talbert.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Annette Talbert; daughter, Jennifer Hollier; and brother, George Talbert.

A gathering of Mr. Talbert’s family and friends will be 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m., Friday, October 15, 2021, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m., at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, 618 Block, Port Neches.

    So sorry to hear of the passing of Tommy. Our friendship goes back to school days and old Fourth Avenue Baptist Church in Port Arthur, Tx. Tommy was a very fine and truthful person, he will be missed by all who knew him. God bless the family.

    A very fine man and one of the first I work with at DuPont. He later made supervisor and was a good one. Prayers for his family.
