I only met Tia a few times so I did not really know her that well. She must have been a wonderful person because her husband is a great guy and she has such wonderful friends. My condolences to family and friends. I wish this was not a loss that you have to bear in what already has been a very difficult year. Peace and best wishes.

Keitha and Johnny, Aiden and Roy, I know there are no words I can say to help the heartache you must now feel. Growing up with Tia she was a big part of our tight knit youth group at First Assembly and those are times I'll never forget. We lost touch over the years but even that couldn't describe the hurt I felt when I heard of her passing. Tia was a beautiful but quite person with a big heart that never thought twice about helping others. To Aiden and Roy, even though we've never meet, I know your also hurting with the loss of a mother and wife. My prayers are with you also. Tia was a beautiful, caring, loving lady and she will be missed by everyone's life she touched. She's in Gods arms now and to Keitha and Jonny, I've prayed that my own parents will welcome her with open arms. Love you all

Keitha - I have such fond memories of Tia. I’ll never forget the years we worked together in Missionettes as well as school in Silsbee. I even think she babysat Brett and Rhea a few times for me when they were young. Jeff’s kind words were a beautiful tribute to a life lived for Jesus. Please know I am praying for all of you. ❤️

SUZANNE LILES

I remember working with Tia in the Silsbee Schools. She was wonderful to her students. I am sorry for her family's loss.

Roy Coleman, Aidan Paul , along with other family and friends, I heard of Tia’s passing from some of our mutual neighbors, Ted and Peggy Mansfield specifically. Please know that I’ve been praying for Tia and you all since early last week. I send my heartfelt condolences. Nothing else I can say will bring you any peace or comfort, save to lean into our Savior Jesus! “Do not be anxious...for your Heavenly Father knows all that you need. Seek, first, His kingdom and His righteousness and all you need will be added unto you. Therefore, do not be anxious for tomorrow; for tomorrow will take care of itself. each day has enough trouble of its own “ (paraphrased from Matthew 6:31-34). What I can do is empathize with you Roy! I lost my husband, Steven, on 7/23/20 to a tragic accident in which he was instantly taken to be with the Lord! From the moment the police officer showed up to tell me of Steven’s death, my first utterance was “JESUS, Help me!” Jesus knew Steven’s time on earth was done but he also knew exactly where I would be and my needs for the future. He orchestrated it all so that Steven could join Jesus in Heaven and that my livelihood would be provided. Jesus has been my constant companion and in His arms I find Peace, Grace, Mercy and Comfort. I can grieve with Jesus. Please don’t do as I did and run from your grief or stay so busy you don’t have time to grieve. This only makes you sick at heart and does unimaginable things to your body. Give yourself permission to grieve, it’s the only way you can begin the healing process. It is not a flaw to cry! We both have much to do to settle estates, return to work, and live each day! Aidan needs you to show him it’s ok to grieve. He will also be your reason for getting up in the morning and providing for him mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually! Aidan will help you too! My Steven was 59, just 7 days prior to our 38th Anniversary! It’s very hard when they’re young. If you find you need to speak to someone that can understand somewhat, I’ll be here! (ask Ted or Peggy where I live and my phone # if needed.) I don’t work, so I’m here most of the time...you’ve likely seen me on my side porch at all times if the day and night! Please feel free to call or just pop over for a visit. I’d love to meet Aidan, as well! Blessings to you, Roy and family, as you each navigate this tragedy in your own ways! There is no set recipe for grief, just do what you feel and all will fall into place as soon as it can! Praying for you all! Kerrie Kerrie Dobbs
