Tommy Charles Jenkins

Tommy Charles Jenkins, 76, of Port Arthur, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2026. He was born on August 4, 1949, and lived a life defined by devotion to interests, family, and especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Jenkins; his daughters, Ashley Todd and Michelle LeBlanc; his son, Tony Tomplait; his stepchildren, Thomas Campbell and Lisa Campbell; his brother, Dan Jenkins; his sister, Ann Infante; and his grandchildren, Landen Doucet, Halleigh Todd, Mikayla Campbell, and Zoey LeBlanc.

Tommy had a lifelong fascination with railroads and trains, a passion that shaped many of his interests and stories. He loved music, especially records and vinyl, and took great pleasure in listening to and collecting them. One of his favorite tales to tell was of hitchhiking across the United States by railroad, a reflection of his adventurous spirit and curiosity about the world. He also proudly served a short time in the military Marine Corps.

Above all else, Tommy will be remembered as a man who loved deeply, cared fiercely for his family, and lived simply but meaningfully. His presence was steady, his love unwavering, and his legacy lives on through the family he held so dear.

Tommy Charles Jenkins will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

Mr. Jenkins’s cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
