Toni Lynn Landry

Toni Lynn Landry, 60, of Port Arthur, died Tuesday, March 17, 2026. She was born on September 19, 1965, in Groves to Louis and Nan Chiasson.

Toni loved to sing and dance, and her joy was truly contagious. She was always laughing, telling jokes, and lighting up every room she entered with her vibrant spirit. Known for her wonderful sense of style, she never went without her favorite fashion accessories. Toni loved her grandchildren fiercely and treasured every moment spent with them, creating memories they will carry with them forever.

She was a proud auxiliary legionnaire of American Legion Post 7, where she was always ready to lend a helping hand and support others in need. Above all, Toni was known for her sweet, kind nature and the love she so freely gave to everyone around her.

Toni also had a deep love for Harleys and bike rallies—nearly as much as she loved the beach and her grandchildren. She truly lived for the ocean, the open road, and the time she shared with her grandkids. Always cracking jokes and quick to laugh, she brought warmth and happiness wherever she went, and she never hesitated to help others, even when she herself was in need.

Survivors include her son, Stanley (Amanda) Buffington of Port Neches; daughter, Darci Stevens of Houston; grandchildren, Bryceton and Zoey Buffington of Port Neches; mother, Nan Chiasson of Nederland; brother, Chris Chiasson of Hutto; stepbrothers, Bobby (Krista) Chiasson & Stanley (Diana) Chiasson, both of Port Neches; aunt, Judy (Mac) Stotts of Groves; cousin, Rodney (Angela) Lewis of Port Neches; and stepsister, Suzann Chiasson Boudoin of Port Neches.

Toni is preceded in death by her father, Louis Stanley “Pete” Chiasson; grandmother, Garnet Pope; and stepdaughter, Angela.

A gathering of Ms. Landry’s family and friends will begin at 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12^th Street, Nederland. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Her cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium.
