Tracy O’Quinn
Tracy O’Quinn, 67, of Beaumont, died Thursday, February 16, 2023. He was born January 12, 1956, in Beaumont, to Birdell Noble O’Quinn and A.B. O’Quinn.
Tracy was a skilled carpenter and served as the contractor for the rebuilding of his entire home after the Hurricane Harvey flood. He was a talented artist in pencil drawings. Tracy was known for his heartfelt hugs and handshakes. He never met a stranger and made you feel like you had always been his friend. Tracy followed in his father’s footsteps and became a firefighter. He was stationed at Fire Station #7 retired from the Beaumont Fire Department after thirty-four years. Tracy loved his three dogs, Buster, Bedo, and Brandy.
He is survived by his wife of forty years, Cheryl Jardell O’Quinn and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tracy is preceded in death by his son, Byron; mother, Birdell Noble O’Quinn; father A.B. O’Quinn; sisters, Judy Nobles and Bebe Wilder; and brother, Gary O’Quinn.
He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and friend.
The family would like to thank all the medical doctors and staff that attended to him in his final years, with a special thanks to Acadian Ambulance.
Mr. O’Quinn’s memorial service will be 4:00 p.m., Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.

Cheryl I was coming but fresh oil on my road stopped that. I loved ur husband. We made many calls together. He was funny and always made u Crack a smile even if u didn’t want to. He was great no matter the call or situation. He was a great firefighter and man. He will make God a perfect Angel. I pray for peace for u and ur family. GOD BLESS YA’LL
RIP My brother and friend, we have lost a great Firefighter. Truly he was a great influence on all that had the honor to know him. Prayers to his family.
Tracy was such a great guy and his passing is such a loss for all who knew and loved him. His laughter filled a room. Many prayers and much love for you going forward.

Dear Cheryl, I am so sorry to hear this. I never had the pleasure of meeting your husband but sounds like he was a great guy. Gods strength at this sad time.
Tracy was always one of my favorite firefighters. He was a kind, friendly and caring person. His laughter brought joy to everyone that had the honor of knowing him. He will be greatly missed by many people including David and myself. I pray that God will give you strength and peace, Cheryl.
Gentle giant of a man, seems like every time I saw him he had a smile on his face.
