Troy Wayne Talbot
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Troy Wayne Talbot, age 63. A native of Labelle and resident of Nederland, Mr. Talbot passed away at his residence on March 18, 2025.
Troy was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed woodworking. He prided himself on providing quality workmanship and enjoyed visiting with customers. Troy’s favorite activities were going to the casino and spending time with his son.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Talbot, of Labelle; one son, Wayne Talbot and wife, Jan, of Lafayette, Louisiana; three step-grandchildren, Megan, Matthew, and Ryan; one brother, Cary Talbot and wife, Lisa, of Onalaska; one sister, Jana Talbot and companion, Clyde Sonnier, of Port Acres.
He is preceded in death by his wife of thirty-nine years, Tammy Brown Talbot, and his father, Larry James Talbot.
The family wishes to express loving thanks to Gentiva Hospice, especially his nurse Avery, for tending to Troy in his times of need.
Cremation arrangements for Mr. Talbot will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
I loved Tammy and Troy very much – so special to me,

Troy always had a smile on his face and I always enjoyed visiting with him. We worked together on some carpentry projects and he was best best vinal siding guy that I knew. He is a friend that will be missed by many. My prayers are with the family.

Troy and I went to school together and I always enjoyed being in class with him and enjoyed his friendship. To the family,I’m so sorry to learn of his passing and offer my sincere condolences, but there is peace in knowing he’s with his lord and savior now.

Troy and Tammy were our friends. He was a great handyman and we depended on him when we needed home repairs. He’s no longer in pain and can react in peace. We’ll. It’s him.

I worked with Troy at Lowe’s and we became close friends. In the last year or so, I would go pick him up and have lunch with him when he was up to it. We would usually talk for hours. I’m sure going to miss him.
