William Ty Taylor, 19, of Silsbee, died Sunday, June 7, 2020. He was born on March 27, 2001, in Beaumont, to Kimberly Upshaw Taylor and Willie Garland Taylor, III.

Survivors include his parents, Kim and Butch Taylor; daughter, Raelynn Grace Taylor; siblings, William Kyle Taylor and his wife, Bethany; Wyatt Garland Taylor; and Jayla Danielle Taylor; grandmother, Shirley Hankamer; niece, Ellis Krae Taylor; and numerous extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Norma and David Upshaw and Paul Rogers; and aunt, Darlene Gilbert.

A gathering of Ty’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 19, 2020, at Central Baptist Church, 120 PR 8325, Evadale, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 20, 2020, at the church. His interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery, Buna. Please observe social distancing guidelines.

I will always remember Ty as being such a happy person. He always had to try to get out of his schoolwork but in the end, would throw up his hand and say. "Alright. Just this once".
