Vedna Mae Lester
Vedna Mae Lester, 85, of Orange, died Tuesday, September 20, 2022. She was born on January 12, 1937, in Webb, Texas to Mary Carol Jackson Lewis.
Survivors include her children, Jerry Hrncir and his wife, Sandy, of Lumberton; Karen Ogden and her husband, Buster, of Buna; Phillip Hrncir of Woodville; Carol McClendon and her husband, Thomas, of Groves; and Kim Lewis and her fiancé, Jeff Willeford, of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; step-daughter, Heidi Lee of Walters, Oklahoma; siblings, John Lewis and his wife, Annette, of Shreveport, Louisiana; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by her parents and her husband, George E. Lester.
A gathering of Mrs. Lester’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with her memorial service at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Grace Church, North, 1130 Highway 69, Lumberton. Her committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium.

My heart breaks just finding out about sweet Vedna’s passing today. Such a sweet woman with a gentle soul and a beautiful smile. I was fortunate to know her and call her friend. Rest in peace, beautiful lady. ????????

Lenny & I both loved Vedna so much! She was a precious,Christian lady. I am so glad she a great part of our lives. I will miss you sweet Vedna!
