Victor Oberg

Victor Raymond Oberg, 71, of Kountze, died Monday, September 21, 2020. He was born on February 17, 1949, in Beaumont, to Lois Weatherford Oberg and Theodore “Ted” Oberg. Victor was a United States Army Veteran having survived during the Vietnam era.

Survivors include his wife, Sybel Oberg of Kountze; daughter, Donene Nugent; grandson, Westen Nugent, both of Sour Lake; siblings, Ted Oberg and his wife, Mary, of Livingston; James Oberg and his wife, Susan, of The Woodlands; and Diane Lynas and her husband, Paul, of Rockwall; and numerous nieces and nephews. Victor is preceded in death by his parents.

A graveside service for Mr. Oberg’s family and friends will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 28, at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Sour Lake, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
